I had some delicious Dolphin from the grill yesterday. The Tuna was eaten
on Monday of this past week after I returned home, and it was great! Michael and
I had a wonderful time on our fishing trip with you and Joey and we look forward
to other's ahead. You and Joey are dedicated at what you do and commit
yourselve's to making your customers achieve the goal of catching fish.

I have fished with Capt. Ron Allen for several years. Each Deep Sea voyage was unique and all of the ventures, even the one (of at least ten trips out) when we did not catch fish, were educational, informative and too much fun.Capt. Ron is one of those rare people who cares about his fishing parties. He has refused to take us out when conditions were not good for raising fish. He actually counsels parents with children who might become seasick in rough seas. His reluctance, in theses situations, to go to sea takes money out of his pocket but his belief is that he would rather save his customer money rather than show them a bad time. Oh sure we have had days that were better than others, but we have had some of our most memorable days on the water with Capt. Ron. He cares about the fisheries and is completely and honestly involved in the preservation of this astounding natural resource. On top of all of this, this guy loves what he does and it shows. There have been times when I believe he was more excited about the catch, or a great fight with a great fish, than the anglers were. I would suggest to anyone thinking about booking a fishing trip
while visiting the lovely keys to go fishing with Capt. Ron Allen.
My family, friends, and I have been fishing with Capt. Ron twice a
year for the last 3 years and are positive that it would be hard to
find a more professional,experienced, and friendlier Capt. and mates
to fish with. We will continue to fish with him each January and
July as long as he will have us.

was a mate for a local charter boat out of Whale Harbor. I was so
impressed with his knowledge about fishing and his demeanor with his
clients that as soon as he acquired his own boat, I fish with Capt.
Ron every time I visit Islamorada(for the past 20 years). Not only
is Capt. Ron one of the most knowledgeable captains in the Keys, he
is rare in that he owns his own boat. I have fished with other
captains before meeting Capt. Ron and it was very obvious to me the
distinct difference in a Captain/non-owner and Captain/owner. Ron
takes extreme pride in his boat and his fishing. The boat is always
in immaculate condition along with his tackle. Ron is very picky
about his mate. He chooses a mate that is not only compatible with
his style but one that will get along with all clients. I highly
recommend Capt. Ron/Fish Tales for all anglers, from young to old
and novice to experts. I can assure you that if you charter with

Hey Ron just wanted to say thanks again from the crazy group from
Chicago we had the best trip since we been coming down there for the
past eight years you guys were great, thanks for putting up with us
for two crazy days! We had the best time in eight years of fishing

We had a great time fishing with Capt. Ron. I was hoping
that my son Rob, age 14, would have his first shot at
catching a sailfish. Well, we got our wish! It’s obvious
that Ron and “E.C.C.” Joey love their work and enjoy
fishing. It was fun to fish with them and we learned a lot
along the way. When our camera failed us, Ron stepped in to
take pictures with his own camera to save the day. All in
all it was a great day. I can highly recommend a charter

Just had to send a quick note to thank you again for the
great outing last Wednesday, March 23rd. All three
couples thoroughly enjoyed the fishing and now the
fish. Dianne and I had grilled wahoo last night and it
was wonderful!! The mahi-mahi is next. We will be back
again for sure--hope to make this an annual event with
these good friends.

and off shore guides in Islamorada, I think
that it is safe to say that I have not had a
more enjoyable experience. Capt. Ron and
Joey make it fun and relaxing. It seems that
so many times the Capt. and mate are yelling
at each other so much that it makes the

I wanted to give a big thanks to Captain Ron
and Executive Cockpit Coordinator Joey for
an incredible day of fishing. I'm going to
prepare some dolphin about three different
ways this weekend. Can't wait! I'd like to
reserve next May 25, 2007 for another annual
trip with Fish Tales. My brothers and I take
our Dad out for the day on Fish Tales, for
his birthday every year, and we always have
a great time. If you would put me down again
for next May 25, 2007...and I will have
something really cool to look forward to.

I have been fishing with Ron since he
started his charter business Fish Tales in
Islamorada. It has been some 15 years now
and I can honestly say these past 15 years
have been the most memorable. I use Ron
exclusively to entertain our clients and my
wife and daughter have been fishing with Ron
exclusively for our annual summer vacations
and tournaments. Ron definitely knows how to
fish and more importantly how to have fun
and show his clients a good time. I have
fished all the other boats in the marina and
have for the past 30 years. In fact I used
to book six of them at the same time. I used
to run a sales promotion and bring 30 people
in for a fishing promotion and every time
the feedback from the Fish Tales was the
most talked about and the most memorable.
That is why I now bring in clients in small
groups of five and fish with Ron on the Fish
Tales exclusively.I have also developed a
meaningful relationship with Captain Ron’s
lovely wife Nancy. She is the BEST!!! Her
impeccable knowledge and expertise in the
Real Estate market in the Florida Keys is
outstanding! All the friends and
acquaintances we have referred to her over
the past 15 years have been extremely
satisfied. Thank you captain Ron & Nancy for
your friendship over the past 15 years and
all the love and memorable experiences we
have shared and the ones to come. If you
